Please take special care to read and understand the following information, as it pertains to you. In Da Surf Bali will not be held liable in the event that any guests or parties involved fail to do so. Requests for further clarification must be submitted before any deposit payments are made to avoid miscommunication or misunderstanding.

Payment

All guests who make a booking request must also make the appropriate deposit payment within 5 working days of availability confirmation to reserve your spot. For your convenience, various payment methods are available.

A deposit of 50% of the total payment should be made to In Da Surf School-Bali if using the following payment methods:

  • Bank transfers
  • Online payment via Credit card - All major credit cards are accepted
  • Cash or credit card payment upon arrival here in Bali *

Please transfer 50% of the total amount as a deposit, no longer than 5 days after receiving your booking confirmation via email. The remaining 50% of the total payment must be paid by the guest in cash or credit card* on a first day of the lesson or surf trip to IN DA SURF School Bali. For credit card payments, please follow the directions outlined in the message sent to your email. Please be aware that your bank may charge an additional fee to process the transfer. All addition surcharges are to be paid by the guest (Full Guarantee).

*2% additional charge will be applied for credit card payment.

For your own records, please keep a copy of your payment receipt in case it required in the future.

Bank Transfers

If you choose to settle your payment via bank transfer, make sure that you allocate sufficient time for the transfer to process before the due date. In the event that the transfer is delayed and/or if you are aware that your transfer payment may not reach our account in time, please promptly notify us. Please be aware that your bank may charge an additional fee to process the transfer. All addition surcharges are to be paid by the guest (Full Guarantee).

If payments are not made on or before the due dates as required herein, IN DA SURF School - Bali reserves the right to cancel the booking, in which case the contract for services will be thereby terminated without any further notice required. Cancellation charges may apply.

Images and Marketing

You agree that, while participating in any surf lesson, trip or event organized by In Da Surf Bali, images, photos or videos taken by us and/or other participants may contain or feature you. You consent to any such pictures being taken and grants In Da Surf Bali a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license reproduce for any purpose whatsoever, including marketing, promotions and the creation of promotional materials in any medium whatsoever, whether currently known or hereinafter devised, without any further obligation or compensation payable to you.

Cancellation/Travel expense return

Any trip, lesson or surf and stay package cancellation requests or notices must be made to info@indasurf.com as soon as possible. The cancellation will be effective from the date received by IN DA SURF School- Bali via email. In the case of a cancellation the following expenses shall arise:

  • up to 30 days before date of arrival/class 10% of the deposit payment*
  • up to 10 days before date of arrival/class 60% of the deposit payment*
  • less than 10 days before arrival/on arrival/class 100% of the deposit payment*

You will get your cancellation confirmation within 24 hours after contacting In da Surf Bali. In case there is no confirmation received in 24 hours, please contact us one more time.

Failure to notify In Da Surf School Bali regarding cancellation and/or non-appearance will result in a loss of 100% of the deposit payment.

*Deposit refund will be maid by bank transfer or in cash (IDR). Refund procedure can take approximately 30 working days. All bank and transfer commission is paid by guest.

Special Circumstances

Surf and Stay packages for groups (i.e. 2 or more individuals) resulting in the cancelation of 1 individual in the group will result in the loss of the deposit for the canceling party. However, the individuals continuing with the surf and stay package, their deposit paid will be recalculated individually to reflect the correct total due balance, excluding the deposit paid by the canceling individual.

Please be aware that lessons or surf trips can only be rescheduled if there are no other conflicting bookings scheduled for the time and dates requested by the guest. All rescheduling requests must be made 24 hours before the start of the lesson or trip. After the start of the scheduled lesson, cancellations may be made at the request of the guest. However, no refund will be provided in this situation. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any schedule changes made less than 24 hours before the confirmed time. In this case, schedule changes made less than 24 hours will be considered trip or lesson cancellations and 100% of the payment will not refunded.

Safety is always our number one priority. IN DA SURF School-Bali may cancel lessons or surf trips in case of severe weather that prohibit lessons and/or surf trips from taking place. If such weather conditions arise, trips may be canceled up to one day beforehand and any payments already made for a trip will of course be refunded.

Booking on behalf of others

If you make a booking on behalf of other participants, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept these Terms on behalf of the other participants in your party. By booking on behalf of other participants, you are deemed to be the designated contact person for every participant included on that booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due in connection with your booking, notifying the Tour Operator or your travel agent if any changes or cancellations are required and keeping your party informed.
By booking on behalf of another person or persons, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all required consents. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another participant is complete and accurate and the Tour Operator will under no circumstances be liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided to complete a booking.

In Da Surf Bali is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you incur as a result of the cancelled booking including visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment, we reserve the right to issue a full refund in lieu of the choices above, in its sole discretion. Where a significant element of a package as described cannot be provided after departure, the In Da Surf Bali will make suitable alternative arrangements where possible. If it is not possible to provide a suitable alternative or if you reasonably reject any suitable alternatives, In Da Surf Bali may not provide you with a refund for unused products or services as determined in its discretion.

BY PAYING THE DEPOSIT, THE GUEST CONFRIMS THAT THEY HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED TO THE “TERMS AND CONDITIONS” AND ATTACHED INFORMATION LIST in its entirety.
